OIL COMPANIES POST BILLION DOLLAR PROFITS PER QUARTER!

These are actual headlines that I have seen over the past month. I know that you all have seen them as well. This month I have been involved in teacher's dissents as well. There is massive dissatisfaction among teachers with conditions of education in the State of Florida. You all read the newspapers. You know this without my telling you.

My main problem is with the way that we all manifest our dissatisfaction. I hear many complaints. Jokes over the internet are fast and furious. Everyone turns around and says "something has got to be done!". My question to you and to my colleagues in the educational arena are "What are YOU going to do".

I am so tired of everyone blaming the Republicans, but not actually going out and taking action. Republicans are manipulating us and infiltrating us on every level and we are letting it happen. WHY!

The anger with the present situation can only be fought one way. AT THE BALLOT BOX! All the complaining and demonstrating in the world is nothing more than spinning our wheels. Democrats like you and I are way too complacent to really make a difference and that is our death knell. We must translate the anger into votes. That can only be done if every one of us joins the Democratic Army in deed as well as thought. Make sure that all your friends and neighbors are aware of the true Democratic candidates, make sure that they get out to vote and don't leave it to the next person, get their 10.00 dues to the club so that they can stay informed. Make sure that everybody who agrees that we need change is registered to vote. Don't fall into the trap, though, and register Republicans.....make sure that your registrants will vote to bring the country back to a normal perspective.

THIS YEAR'S GET OUT THE VOTE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DRIVE WE HAVE HAD IN YEARS! MAKE SURE YOU ARE OUT THERE ACTIVELY.
