Time is flying by. I am thrilled to invite you all to our gala installation meeting. We will be welcoming some dynamic new blood to our Board of Directors and in addition to our members from last year, we are adding Scott Baroccas, Pam Kelner and Karen Salver. They have all been active with us in our recent endeavors and I know that they will prove to be very valuable WDC Board members.

I am also very happy to welcome Theresa Palmisano as our new newsletter editor. Theresa is doing a terrific job and we are all very grateful to her.

Our installing officer and speaker for the April meeting is our Broward County Commissioner and good friend Diana Wasserman Rubin. You all know that when Commissioner Wasserman Rubin is in the audience there will be excitement in the room. Equally, we are looking forward to an exciting meeting with Diana there as our speaker.

We are also getting ready to be bombarded by Presidential candidates looking for our support. With Florida moving up our Primary election, we will be one of the first states needed to be won over by a candidate who wants to be our standard bearer. Pay close attention to all the debates and news articles. We will be bringing you first hand information as soon as it all starts.
