We are now into the throes of the most exciting Democratic primary in years. We have two wonderful candidates to choose from. By the time you read this, hopefully it will be decided and we will know exactly what direction we need to go in.

We do know that our opponent on the Republican side will be Senator John McCain, who comes across as Bush redux. We need to be out there, active and vigilant, so that our country will never have to live through anything like the Bush years once again in our lifetimes. We also need to insure that we do not allow ourselves to become victims of our own propaganda campaigns. Keep in mind the following: the first thing to note is that the next President will have the chance to appoint up to three Supreme Court judges and we need to make sure the court is liberal. The next thing we need to make sure of is that we don’t buy into any of the nonsense that the Republicans will be insidiously throwing at us. Any credence that we give to propaganda against any of our candidates is a vote for the Republican and in this Presidential contest, this could be crucial
