It is time for us to come together. This is the time to heal our Party. No matter which candidate you support, the need to make sure it is a Democratic ticket that goes to the White House is up to all of us.
While I understand that our party is divided, I know that this election is and always has been ours to lose. If we continue to hold anger against a candidate or against a party, we certainly will lose it. When the passion dies down, each one of us needs to see the larger picture. Do you like paying 4.00 a gallon for gas because oil men run the country? Do you want to see a Republican nominate at least three of our next Supreme Court justices? Should we continue to support a war in Iraq that was initiated by propaganda and continued by profit? John McCain wants us there for as long as it takes. He just never mentioned what "takes" is the equivalent of.
Ladies and gentlemen look at the big picture. This is not about individual egos, this is about the future of our country. This is about the legacy we leave to our children and grandchildren. It is time to heal and come together. Our candidates should not be dividing us.
